- Tubeless compatible rims have no spoke holes, maximizing strength: AL-6061-T6 with welded joint
- New rim profile and increased strength to weight ratio; Opium wheels are stiffer, stronger, wider and deeper
- Rims are first anodized black and then the spine is re-anodized with the accent color, which matches the nipples and rim bushings and increases the scratch-resistant nature of wheel
- Opium front wheels are set up for 20mm thru axle
- Straight-pull 2-piece spokes are laced in a "mirror" spoke pattern attached to the rim via a rim bushing
- Hubs use a 3-pawl system and have sealed cartridge bearings
- Wheels have an alloy freehub body and axle
- 2 year manufacturer warranty
- Valve stems are included with all wheelsets
