X-Fusion's Velvet is a 32mm chassis XC and Trail Fork. Having 140mm’s of travel, remote or lever actuated lockout (convertible), and optional DLA travel adjust system, the Velvet is prepared to go for as long as your legs can keep spinning those gears. In addition to the performance features, the Velvet is offered in multiple steerer tube configurations, with either X-15 tool-less axle system or standard 9mm dropouts. With a well-balanced, progressive stroke for such an affordable fork, the Velvet RL 2 has always been ahead of its game – this 26in fork can handle a fat 650b x 2.4in tire with space to spare. Internal pins make stopping the travel down to 120mm or 100mm simple, which only increases its future-proof versatility even further. A steeply-sloped crown with scooped underside helps reduce weight. The alloy lockout lever and air cap give the fork a quality feel, and the all-metal internals add reliability to the Velvet for years to come.
