The MTB specific Sonar Freecoaster Hubs feature a patented "HYBRID" freecoaster system, creating a new type of hub that functions unlike anything else. Based on similar construction to a traditional hub, the Sonar Freecoaster is lightweight, simple to adjust system with ample durability and reliability.- Larger, fully adjustable slack system, and a "MagnaDrive" magnetic pawl retention system, requires little to no maintenance compared to the heavy and unreliable clutch style freecoasters
- Provides zero friction and resistance making it one of the smoothest and fastest rolling hubs; going forwards or backwards
- Easily convertible into a cassette hub (all parts included)
- 6061-T6 Alloy hub shell & 7075-T6 axle
- x5 sealed high-grade stainless bearings
- MTB specific, 135mm spacing and 6-bolt disc brake mount
- 33% lighter than a conventional clutch style freecoaster hub
