The new S5 has revolutionized the aero road segment – again. It combines many incremental improvements across the frame to deliver one huge improvement to you: more speed. The model that BikeRadar calls “spectacular in terms of raw aggression and savage speed” now offers increased stiffness, race-ready geometry and improved ride quality to produce our fastest road bike ever. Now available in the Team Dimension Data Limited Edition.
PREMIUM FRAME, PREMIUM FEATURES:
For when you want a game-changing advantage, no matter what challenges the road throws at you. Over 100 unique frame iterations were built in layup development alone to perfect the new S5. Our road-tested aero features make the S5 faster in the real world, not just in the wind tunnel.
PERFORMANCE SIZE AND SPEC:
Out-of-the-box speed comes from industry-leading components and race geometry paired with classic road handling. This revised fit maintains the same reach distance as in the previous-generation S5.
This asymmetrical 79mm bottom-bracket standard yields stiffer and lighter frames and crank systems.
BUILT FOR BOTTLES:
Minimizes the aero penalty by partly integrating the water bottle into the downtube airfoil.
DROPPED DOWN TUBE:
Reduces drag by treating the front wheel and frame as one aerodynamic shape.
EXTENDED SEAT TUBE CUTOUT:
A close-fitting curve in the seat-tube’s trailing edge significantly improves aerodynamics by shielding the leading edge and top of the rear wheel.
FUTURE-PROOF CABLE MANAGEMENT:
Ensures your frame is compatible with all current and future derailleur and brake systems.
Tough, compression-molded dropouts save weight with no sacrifice in strength compared to traditional metal dropouts.
EVOLVED STEERER DESIGN:
The fork steerer’s diameter has a noticeable effect on a bike’s handling. evolved steerer design applies the diameters and taper designs that best suit each model.
SHIELDING SEAT STAYS:
Hide the rear brake callipers from the wind, not from the mechanic.
REDUCED-FRICTION BB GUIDE:
Significantly reduces cable friction in the bottom bracket, which means smoother shifting, easier setup and longer service intervals.
